Lethbridge County’s annual Bursary program is back up and running. Applications are open for anyone who is looking to take some post-secondary classes. Every year, students from Lethbridge County can apply to receive money to help them in their continuing education. Tory Campbell with the County says they have received solid feedback so far.
“The first year that we offered the program I think it was it wasn’t as well-received as we hoped just in the sense that I don’t think we pushed it out far enough and maybe it wasn’t well known but I know the second year I know the team at the county did a really good job of trying to reach out as far as they could through varies media channels through the county social media channels, through the website and we actually a lot of applicants last year, a lot of really strong applicants last year.”
This year, two students will receive around a thousand dollars for their first year of studies.
