Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper raised over 1.5 million dollars

According to the Red Cross, Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper has raised more 674 thousand dollars and with the federal and provincial governments matching to the tune of more than 1.5 million dollars now being raised for the campaign. As for the 2024 Alberta Wildfires Appeals, more than 7.8 million dollars has been raised so far. The donated funds will be used to support those affected by the wildfires in our province. Locally, Ability Resource in Lethbridge has also joined in on the fundraiser. The group’s Director of Operations, Dale Williams, discusses how much was raised at one of the Lethbridge locations.
