Steps parents can take to prevent human trafficking

Just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening here.

A local not-for-profit organization is spreading more awareness over their fight against human trafficking, particularly against youth. Not 4 Sale, a branch of Parallel Network based out of Lethbridge, rescues girls who’ve been trafficked internationally by providing them with safe homes and services.

Not 4 Sale’s Executive Director, Joy-Lynn Stickel, says a big part of their mission is spreading education and awareness by teaching people to look out for the signs.
