Trek for Tourette 2026 brings awareness and support to Lethbridge

This Sunday, the Lethbridge community is invited to participate in Trek for Tourette Lethbridge 2026. The event seeks to raise awareness and funds to support research into this neurological condition, also known as a tic disorder. Tourette Syndrome is estimated to affect more than one in 100 school-aged children, although up to 50 per cent may go undiagnosed. BCN spoke with a youth living with the syndrome about what the condition means to them and why events like this matter.

The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the pavilion at Legacy Park, weather permitting. In case of rain, updated location information will be posted on the Trek for Tourette Lethbridge page.
