Lethbridge polar plunge passes Calgary for Special Olympics fundraising

The event raises money for Special Olympics Alberta to help fund the athletes travel costs. Lethbridge Mayor, Blaine Hyggen, says it’s a special feeling to be involved. Lethbridge has passed their goal of 15-thousand dollars and currently sits at more than 20-thousand raised so far. Donations are still being accepted until March 2nd.
