Lethbridge holds weekend Freedom rally and convoy

As in many other Canadian cities, some citizens of Lethbridge gathered this past weekend to express their desire to have all COVID-19 related mandates and restrictions lifted immediately.

A convoy of vehicles was staged in the parking lot of Superstore on Mayor MaGrath Drive. One of the promoters behind the event, Larry Schille says he hopes this rally gets the attention of our local politicians.

According to Lethbridge Police Service, that convoy then moved slowly down Mayor Magrath Drive,  to 16 Avenue South, and along Scenic Drive and Crowsnest Trail.
