102-year-old Alberta man still hits golf course everyday
According to Statistics Canada, the number of Canadians who are over 100-years of age is growing. In the 2021 census, close to 10,000 centenarians were recorded, most living in BC, Ontario and Quebec. Foremost, Alberta, however, is home to 102-year-old Charlie Luca who not only lives completely independently but also travels half the year…and hits nine holes of golf each and every day. BCN’s Jeannette Rocher caught up with Luca on the fairway in Foremost to find out what his secret to a long life is.
