10,000 water meters getting upgraded in Lethbridge

Ten-thousand water meters across Lethbridge are going to be replaced. City officials say the three-year program will replace outdated meters with better technology. Leanne Lammertsen, Manager of Water and Waste-Water operations, says the upgrades will make checking the meters a lot easier. You will be notified if your meter needs to be switched by a door hanger on your property. Staff are beginning with the communities of Copperwood and Indian Battle Heights with appointments available as early as Wednesday.
