YWCA Lethbridge launches Stockings of Hope

Stockings of Hope is returning to the YWCA Lethbridge and District. The gift giving campaign returns on Friday. It will kick off the group’s Christmas campaign which helps women and their families in need. Lorien Johansen who is with the YWCA marketing and communications team, says there are two options available this year. One is a personalized stocking that includes a holiday wish-list. The other is a stocking with incremental dollar-values where you can select the level of financial support that works best for you. Johnsen says these intitiatives really support women in need.  Johansen says these women and children are either currently using YWCA programs or have used them over the past year. That includes the YWCA Harbour House, Hestia Homes, Harbour House Support Services, and the Safe Visitation program.
