YQL-Neighbourhoods to launch pop-up celebration station this Friday

YQL Neighbourhoods is set to launch its new Neighbourhood Party Trailer this Friday, September 25, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at My City Care.

Designed to make community events more accessible, affordable, and fun, the mobile trailer is fully equipped with everything needed for a successful neighbourhood gathering — including games, seating, tents, signage, sound equipment, and BBQ supplies.

Jerry Firth, Project Lead, League of YQL Neighbourhoods says the event will showcase the trailer in action, giving residents a firsthand look at how it can support block parties and local celebrations.

Highlights include live music, games, and a free community BBQ for the first 250 guests

Heidi Echavarria

Heidi was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until she was 18, then she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she finished her bachelor's degree in journalism. Since 2010 she covered political issues related to the government of former president Hugo Chávez and his political opponents, management, death and transition to a new government. Heidi also has a diploma in Addictions and Community Health. In 2024, she joined at Bridge City News team as a Video Journalist to produce a wide range of stories including those which are faith based glorifying Jesus Christ.
