Wood’s Homes has unveiled a new honourary Blackfoot-inspired logo. The new logo was created following the organization’s 2024 blessing and transfer ceremony. The gifted Blackfoot name translates to ‘a home or dwelling offering help and support’. The name inspired a visual identity that incorporates the open-door tipi and the eastern sunrise—symbols representing hospitality, new beginnings, healing and renewal.
Wood’s Homes and the Indigenous Initiatives Centre will use the logo in appropriate settings, including employee apparel and Indigenous engagement events.
