While high temperatures are a nuisance for some, in some cases they can cause death. WOOD’S Homes has launches a new initiative called the Cooling Kit to support homeless youth in Lethbridge. Sarah Shaw, Shelter Program Supervisor with Wood’s Homes, says the idea is to protect homeless young people from the extreme weather. She also says Wood’s Homes wants homeless young people to remain healthy inside and outside of the shelter. Shaw says donations can be drop off at 312 3 Street S., Lethbridge.
