U of L basketball to host spring camps

Both men’s and women’s basketball programs at the University of Lethbridge are only able to practice with 9 players and 1 coach due to current provincial restrictions. High school and elementary schools are facing the same challenges. The U of L is hosting spring camps for teenagers, giving current players the opportunity to coach.

“Some of them will definitely go on and coach somewhere. It also looks good on a resume. It’s good work experience…I have a lot of education students and that’s great reps for them,” says U of L women’s head coach, Dave Waknuk.

There are only 18 spaces available for each men’s and women’s camp.  You can register online by visiting   http://go.uleth.ca/horns-programs
