Two students to be awarded $10,000 for ag scholarship

Two students from southwestern Alberta are set to become $10,000 richer. The Rotary Club of Lethbridge East and District Exhibition announced the Agriculture Scholarship Award program at Exhibition Park. The honour recognizes the importance that agriculture plays in our region and awards scholarship money to some of the top agriculture students.

In order to qualify for the award, students have to complete at least two full years of schooling at a post-secondary institution in agriculture or a related field. Applications will be available on December 1st, and students will have to apply by January 31st of next year.
