Trial for Lethbridge man accused in fatal careless driving collision adjourned

What was supposed to begin as a five-day trial for Neil Martin Skjodt, the man accused of careless driving that killed a 10-year-old boy two years ago, has been adjourned for now. As BCN’s Angela Stewart explains, emotions were high, and crying could be heard from the victim’s family members as court is looking at new trial dates.

The trial has been rescheduled to start on Aug. 29, and will run until Sept. 2.
