CPKC train collides with semi-truck outside Lethbridge

Police are continuing to investigate a crash involving a semi-trailer truck and a train near Lethbridge.

The crash happened around 1pm Monday just east of Lethbridge near Highway 3. Packages from the semi spilled onto the roadway. At this time, there is no word on whether anybody was hurt.

CPKC has confirmed a train was involved in a crash with a semi at a grade crossing at Range Road 21-1. The train was stopped for a while and has since moved on.

Landon is a recent graduate of the Radio and Television program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton. He previously obtained a diploma for Christian Ministries at Home Church Bible College in Red Deer, Alberta.
