Town of Coaldale experiencing rapid growth
The non-residential area of Coaldale is growing by leaps and bounds. According to Cameron Mills, Director of Growth & Investment for the Town of Coaldale, over the past six years, the total value of Coaldale’s business community has doubled. He says it’s jumping from more than 84 million dollars to over 168 million. Adding that this figure was calculated within the period 2018 and 2023. Mills explains what the reason for this rapid growth could be. Mills says the analysis made a comparison with other towns of similarly sized and neighboring municipalities like Blackfalds, Drumheller, Edson, Innisfail, Lethbridge, Lethbridge County, Ponoka, and Taber.
