The Movie Mill plans to launch drive-in movies May long weekend

There is one thing that many of us agree on when it comes to things we miss doing before the pandemic began.  It is going to the movies. While there are no immediate plans for the province to allow moviegoers to return to the cinemas, one theatre owner/operator is putting a new twist, or rather an OLD twist on the movie-going experience.

It started off as a tease, then grew into speculation, then rumour, then confirmed by management.  The Movie Mill is converting their parking lot into a Drive-in movie theatre and they hope to start showing titles on their 32-foot wide screen as early as May Long Weekend.

The theatre will be able to safely house up to 100 vehicles, and sound will be delivered to your car through its FM radio.

Rather than having to purchase individual tickets, admission is per vehicle and includes the party pack size of their POPular popcorn.
