Another local business has joined forces with Connecting our Community Lethbridge to collect shoes for the Shoes for Kids YQL initiative. The Medicine Shoppe located on 20 Street South has set a goal to raise 100 pairs of shoes before August 14. Shoes for Kids YQL recently announced they have increased their goal to 1,000 pairs after surpassing their original goal of 200.
Pharmacist at The Medicine Shoppe, Vishal Sukhadiya, says he was pleased to help out the community.
The Medicine Shoppe will also be a drop off location. If you’d let drop off a pair, their hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 until 2 p.m. and are located at 1016A, 20 Street South.
