The Last of Us TV show generating big money for Alberta economy

A popular video game turned TV show is set to be released on January 15. The Last of Us games have sold over 37 million copies worldwide as of December 2022. The show was shot primarily in Alberta in locations such as Fort Macleod, Calgary, and stunning Waterton Lakes National Park. As BCN’s Micah Quinn explains, according to local economic and film advocacy groups, the show has been vital in generating big money for the Alberta economy.
