Terry Fox donuts available at Bootsma Bakery, proceeds donated to foundation

For the entire month of July, Bootsma Bakery is selling donuts with $0.50 from every donut sold being donated to the Terry Fox Foundation. This is all ahead of the 42nd annual Terry Fox Run coming up on September 18th. Owner Steven Bootsma says the design of the donut is inspired by the foundation’s colours.

“Blue and the white sprinkles, that’s part of their, the colors that they use for their foundation, so it’s part of their logo that we pulled from. We love being able to give back locally and we love the support that we get from the local community to help with all these other foundations that we help with and it’s always a good relationship,” said Steven Bootsma, Owner of Bootsma Bakery.

Besides the Terry Fox donuts, the bakery is also selling Street Wheeler’s donuts for this weekend’s classic vehicle event.
