Good works are noticed and recognized, especially those that have a great impact on our community. Such is the case with the Platinum award that Streets Alive Mission received from the 2024 Lethbridge Community Votes. The RePurpose Donation Centre from the Christian organization was recognized in both the Community Group and Second Hand Clothing & Consignment categories. The group’s Chief Operations Officer, Cameron Kissick, explains what winning the award means to them. Streets Alive Mission also addresses the basic needs of people experiencing homelessness or addiction, including clothing, a warm or cool place to stay, and fully licensed treatment facilities for men and women to help them overcome their addiction.
