Spokesperson discusses damage to Pride crosswalk

Vandalism should not be tolerated under any circumstances. But, that is exactly what happened recently in Lethbridge at a pride crosswalk. According to police, a 17-year-old laid rubber on the crosswalk in the form of a burnout with his truck. He has since been charged. BCN spoke to the chair of Lethbridge Pride Fest, Cassaundra Fayant who offered her thoughts after she received the news about the damage. The 17-year-old is charged with mischief under $5,000. He was released from custody and is scheduled to attend youth court on November 13.
