Smoke lingers over Lethbridge despite rain

Air quality and visibility in Lethbridge continue up and down. This is due to smoke from wildfires. Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a special air quality statement indicating that even though the air quality is at low risk, it recommends limiting time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities, and events. In this regard, many find it curious that even with rain in the city, the smoke lingers in the air.
