School threat prompts lockdowns at multiple Lethbridge schools

In local news, a number of Lethbridge high schools were placed on full lockdowns. Early Monday morning, Lethbridge Collegiate staff contacted police after finding a written message on school property threatening harm to students and staff.

As of noon today, all lockdowns were lifted. Lethbridge Police are investigating to determine the veracity of the threat and who is responsible. At this time there is no evidence to suggest an imminent or ongoing risk to students or staff.
