Remembrance Day ceremonies coming up

Remembrance Day is quickly approaching and ceremonies will take place tomorrow as a time for us to reflect on the sacrifices veterans made to secure our freedoms. There is one event right here in Lethbridge and the other two in Coaldale and Stirling. The poppy campaign is also in full swing, and the legion is hoping to raise more than $90,000 for this year’s campaign. The President of the legion, Michael Cormican, says the Lethbridge Remembrance Day ceremony will be smaller due to the pandemic.
