Remembering those still held captive by Hamas

This week the world remembered the horrific events of Oct 7th when 12 hundred people were murdered in southern Israel by the terrorist group Hamas. More than 200 were also taken captive. There are still around 105 still allegedly being held hostage by Hamas. The President of the Lethbridge Hebrew Congregation, Garry Kohn, expressed his thoughts on what he believes may have happened to those kidnapped a year ago. Kohn adds that some of the information the mainstream media has released in the past may have also been manipulated by terrorist groups such as Hamas.

Heidi Echavarria

Heidi was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until she was 18, then she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she finished her bachelor's degree in journalism. Since 2010 she covered political issues related to the government of former president Hugo Chávez and his political opponents, management, death and transition to a new government. In 2024, she joined at Bridge City News team as a Video Journalist to produce a wide range of stories including those which are faith based glorifying Jesus Christ.
