Reconciliation art contest started by United Way

Local artists are being invited to show off their creative skills for a chance to win a cash prize in the YQL Expressions of Art and Media Contest. The 4th annual contest is a combined effort drawn up by the United Way and other groups in the city to provide an opportunity to talk about reconciliation. The Executive Director for the United Way in Lethbridge, Janelle Marietta, says the contest coincides with the theme of Reconciliation Week in Lethbridge.

The first prize winner will be awarded $350. The second place winner will receive $200.
