The Town of Raymond is bringing sport and community appreciation together this Friday. The town is hosting its annual Harvest Showdown and Volunteer Appreciation Night. The event will recognize local volunteers, including Maxine West, who has served the community for more than 30 years.
Raymond Mayor, Bryce Coppieters, says this is the second year the council has chosen to have a volunteer award and will take place on Friday, September 25, at Victoria Sports Park Comets Stadium.
