Prostate cancer affects around one in eight men in Canada
Prostate cancer is a serious disease, Adam Kinnaird, Chair in Prostate Cancer Research at the University of Calgary says this condition is the most common internal malignancy in men, which affects around one in eight men in Canada. Kinnaird also says prostate cancer typically affects men over 50. According to Statistics Canada, other factors may increase the risk of prostate cancer including obesity, eating a diet high in red or processed meats and high in fat.
