Pronghorns basketball coach optimistic for fall season

University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men’s basketball coach, Jermaine Small, who was hired last March has yet to host a practice with his entire team.

USPORTS, the governing body of university sport in Canada, has yet to release any information on return to play for fall sports. Coach Small is optimistic that his team will play, and he will finally get to bring his players together.

“(Having) everybody in one place at the same time. The face to face conversations. I love that, that’s why I love the job.” says Small “(When) we get back to some kind of normalcy, I think it’s going to be a year to remember”.

All Pronghorns Athletics teams are awaiting approval and details from the Canada West conference.
