Production of ‘Wonderstruck’ to be hosted in Lethbridge

New West Theatre is ready to welcome lovers of all things comedy and music for a new production called Wonderstruck.

It will kick off on August 9th.

Officials with the organization explained to us what we can expect during the show.

“Wonderful songs, fantastic performances, hilarious comedy. And this time, we’ve kind of used the idea, really, that motif of wonder and optimism and hope. You know, kind of started with the idea of what does it feel like to be underneath the stars on a beautiful summer night? And just kind of went from there. So our scenic elements include a lot of stars. Our lights are evocative of a beautiful summer night sky, and that kind of was our jumping off point,” says Kelly Reay, the director of Wonderstruck.

Wonderstruck will run until August 26th at the Yates Theatre.
