Polytechnic students pitch marketing strategies at ‘Tecconnect Challenge’

For an 11th year students at Lethbridge Polytechnic are in a competition to solve a real-life business challenge. The Tecconnect Challenge has students creating marketing material for a local entrepreneur.

They must then pitch their plan to a panel of marketing experts. This year student teams from the Multimedia Production and Digital Communications and Media programs were given five hours to create the marketing strategy for a local Indigenous food truck that’s operated by a former Polytechnic culinary student.

A winning team gets chosen at the end, and their work is utilized for the respective client.
