Paying it forward with the Community Foundation

Today is Random Act of Kindness Day. It is celebrated by community foundations across the country to acknowledge the power of small acts of kindness by encouraging people to pay it forward. The Executive Director for the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and southwestern Alberta, Charleen Davidson, says this is just one small way to help out your community.

Winners and their chosen charities will be announced on Giving Tuesday, which takes place on November 30th of this year.

The foundation also has another nice incentive for the winter months. If you are an AHS worker who can provide proof of employment, you will also have the chance to receive two tickets to the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden for the Winter Light Festival. These are only available on Wednesday from December of this year through to January of 2022.
