New smile, new life for Calgary man

Imagine being ridiculed and bullied your entire life because of your teeth.  That was the reality for a 47-year-old Calgary man until he decided to do something about it.  Much to his surprise, the community jumped on board to help him begin a new life with a new smile.

Paul Bennett has not smiled in public for over 10 years. His reason: a mouth of crooked and missing teeth that have given him a lifetime of pain, discomfort, criticism and ridicule.

Paul decided that enough was enough. And through fundraising efforts, he was able to accumulate close to the $7,000 needed to replace his remaining teeth with dentures.

When sharing his story with his dentist, Dr. Linh Le, she offers to help him in his journey in a big way.
