New indoor lights at Coaldale Public Library
The indoor lights at Coaldale Public Library were replaced thanks to a $23,100 grant through the Government of Alberta’s Community Energy Conservation program. Scott Boyd, Community Services Operations Manager with the Town of Coaldale, says this grant allowed the library to replace its outdated fluorescent lighting with new, energy-efficient LED fixtures. Boyd explains the benefits of this lighting change.
Research indicates that LED lights offer benefits for vision, including reduced eye strain and a more comfortable visual experience.
