The Chinook Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in Lethbridge will receive nearly 61-thousand dollars as part of the Government of Alberta’s increased support for these eight centres in the region.
The province is boosting funding by 10 per cent, bringing the total investment to 3.7 million dollars in 2025. Searle Turton, Alberta’s Minister of Children and Family Services gives more details.
The eight child and youth advocacy centres are located in Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Lloydminster, Red Deer, Calgary, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat
