New Executive Director for Lethbridge Food Bank

The Lethbridge Food Bank has a new Executive Director to man the helm. Mac Nichol has worked for the Interfaith Food Bank and the Alpha House in Lethbridge just to name a few. Now he’s ready to start a new chapter at the Lethbridge Food Bank. Nichol says he will work hard to make sure that clients are getting the food they need in the future.

Nichol says he moved down to Lethbridge and got a job at the Lethbridge Food Bank as a summer events student, “It really got my hooks into the food bank. Providing a basic need in such an efficient way is something very admirable, and something that I really grabbed onto.”

Following that year, Nichol continued to work with the food bank for another summer. The next step for him was an events and operations position throughout the year.

Nichol assumed responsibilities as Executive Director at the food bank on May 3.
