Main causes and syptoms of ADHD

Researchers describe ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain regulates attention, impulses and activity levels. The Manager of Accessibility Services with Lethbridge Polytechnic, Mark Davids, explains what the main causes and symptoms look like for someone who battles ADHD. Davids also says screening for ADHD is much better than it used to be. He also says one in three children per classroom in Alberta have ADHD.

Heidi was born in Bogota, Colombia and lived there until she was 18, then she moved to Caracas, Venezuela where she finished her bachelor's degree in journalism. Since 2010 she covered political issues related to the government of former president Hugo Chávez and his political opponents, management, death and transition to a new government.
