A 29-year-old man is facing charges in connection with three separate assaults.
Last Friday at around 8pm, police responded to a call of a woman being assaulted by an unknown man at a residence along the 1200 block of 8 Avenue North. Before police arrived, the suspect took off, but was located by the K-9 team shortly after and was arrested.
Police allege he had entered the backyard, was confronted by the occupants and told to leave. But police say he became aggressive, striking a 16-year-old boy and 38-year-old woman. Authorities discovered a third victim, who had been parked in the area and was approached aggressively by the suspect.
Fearing he was going to be punched through the open vehicle window; he closed it and drove off.
Police say 29-year-old Lucas Allan Stadnick charged with three counts of assault. Shortly after his release from custody, he was re-arrested for breaching conditions stemming from a previous, unrelated matter. He is now further charged with one count of breach of a release order.
He is in custody and reportedly made a court appearance on Monday.
