LPS bringing back ‘Trunk or Treat’ this Halloween
This Halloween, the Lethbridge Police Service wants to provide a safe and family-friendly event and will have officers at three locations to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters.
The Service’s fourth annual ‘Trunk or Treat’ event will be a chance for families and young children to interact with the local force in their decorated police vehicles.
And while families and children are out trick-or treating this Saturday night, police are also providing a note of caution to ensure children stay safe. They’re asking parents to make sure to check their children’s candy collection and always look out when crossing the streets.
Police will gather at these locations between 5pm and 7pm on Halloween:
- WEST – The boat launch parking lot at Nicholas Sheran Park along McMaster Blvd. West
- NORTH – The green space behind the Logan Boulet Arena at 1302 9 Avenue North
- SOUTH – The Nikka Yuko RV parking lot along Mayor Magrath Drive South
