Lethbridge symposium to explore how religious liberty builds community
How does religious liberty foster unity within a community? That question is the theme for the second annual Lethbridge Religious Freedom Symposium coming up next week.
Richard Low, a member of the organizing committee for the symposium, says it’s important to understand the role that religious freedom plays, not just as a right set out in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but as a force that brings people together.
The symposium will be held at Parallel Church on September 24 in Lethbridge from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.
