The upcoming Civic Elections in Lethbridge comes at a critical time for boards of education. As every election goes, many vie for a spot as Trustee in the various school boards in Lethbridge and area, including the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division.
One candidate who currently works as Chair of the Board in the Division is Carmen Mombourquette. He tells BCN he feels a pressure in Catholic schools across Canada to maintain a faith-centered approach to education, and to support and keep accountable the senior leadership team.
