Lethbridge restaurants dish out unique eats in first ever La Pizza Week

There is something that humans and ninja turtles have in common…our love for pizza.  And this week is a great week to find a unique piece of pie, as it is La Pizza Week across Canada.

La Pizza Week is a Canada-wide initiative to support local restaurants struggling through the pandemic.  By showcasing original recipes, the organizers hope you’ll have the urge to get some slices.  And at Rivaaz Indian Pizza and Cuisine, they offer a pizza-version of a popular Indian dish – butter chicken.

And over in the west side.  The Duke Pub & Grill shows us their signature pizza, The Windsor.  Pepperoni, bacon, bell peppers, black olives onions, and tomatoes, all topped on their house-made sauce.

As for most popular pizzas in Canada right now the top three right now include the Smokehouse Pizza, the Meat Lovers and the Pac Mac…Mac and Cheese with pulled pork on pizza. La Pizza Week runs until May 7.
