Lethbridge Police investigate body found in city’s northside

Residents of a north Lethbridge neighborhood were shocked this morning when police knocked on their door to tell them a body had been found in their alley. Lethbridge Police Service was on the scene between 1st and 2nd Avenue on 16th Street, north and spoke to residents in the area. BCN was there to speak to witnesses who did not want to go on camera but said police officers had knocked on their door to ask if they had noticed anything suspicious in the area overnight or in the previous days. Neighbors were also asked to avoid going to the location where the body was.
