Lethbridge Police Charity Checkstop Campaign

The Lethbridge Police Service is partnering with several community agencies this weekend to make Christmas better for those less fortunate. The fourth annual Charity Checkstop will be held tomorrow from 11am til 3pm.  Officers will be onsite at the Park Place Mall’s west parking lot to collect new toys, gifts, donations of money and non-perishable food items for the Christmas Hope campaign. One of the Christmas Hope agencies is MyCityCare’s Shop of Wonders. The program and volunteer coordinator for the campaign explains why it is important to her group for many people to attend the Charity Checkstop. 

Shop of Wonders is aimed at families that have challenges buying Christmas gifts for their children. Parents can come in and shop for their children for free.
