Lethbridge man running across Alberta for autism awareness and funding

A Lethbridge man is running across Alberta to raise awareness and funds for Autism Speaks Canada. The incredible part is he’s hoping to do so in only 96 hours. The goal for the initiative is to raise just over $22,000. BCN’s Micah Quinn caught up with Austin Sedgwick on the road just past Medicine Hat via Zoom to ask him why he is putting his best foot forward for a good cause.

Sedgwick says once he is done with his run, he’ll have just over a month to rest up before heading into the Stampede City for the Calgary Marathon on May 28th.

For more information or to donate to the run you can visit Sedgwick’s Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/run.forthosewhocant/
