The Southern Alberta Cardiac Centre of Excellence has received a huge boost in its fundraising campaign. A private donation of 500 hundred thousand dollars came in today from local resident, Shilpa Stocker, who shares why she feels it’s so important to have a cardiac centre in Lethbridge. The donation advances a $30 million fundraising campaign over a 30-month period between September 2024 and February 2027. The project will substantially elevate the standard of cardiac healthcare at the two southern Alberta regional hospitals in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.
