Lethbridge College to submit schedule for fall sport

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, which governs the Lethbridge College Kodiaks, is working with the school to set up a return to play schedule.

The ACAC granted approval to draft athletic schedules, with the optimism that sports will return in the fall. Kodiaks athletic manager, Todd Caughlin says the biggest benefit of these plans revolves around the mental health of their athletes.

“It’s probably everything at this point, because you can train your body physically…for these student athletes, that’s part of their day,” says Caughlin. “The mental side of it, and being able to adjust to a whole different type of schedule like it has been for the last (year) it’s a challenge every day”.

Outdoor sports like cross country, golf, and soccer are expected to return no later than September 17.
