The Lethbridge Airport presented its annual workplan to council’s Community Issues Committee this week. The plan prioritizes revenue growth and maintaining viability and enhanced connectivity.

Discussions continue with airline service providers in attempts to land new commercial passenger services. WestJet was the last commercial passenger service into Lethbridge, making its final departure flight to Calgary in June.

The City’s Airport Manager, Cameron Prince says the airport remains busy with a variety of services operating. They’re also researching potential land leasing opportunities for further revenue growth. He says the airport continues to remain a vital community asset.
